Description
CHI Franciscan Rehabilitation Hospital is a beautiful new 60-bed hospital in Washington State that opened in May 2018 to care for patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. This hospital is a joint venture partnership between CHI Franciscan Health and Kindred Healthcare. When you come to work here, you will be joining an interdisciplinary team where doctors, nurses, therapists and other experts work together to form individualized care plans for our patients and residents.
As a Physical Therapist you will have an assigned group of patients and provide PT evaluations, modalities and treatments to support patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning while also learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Specific areas of responsibility will include:
* Initiate patient contact on referral. Demonstrate ability to provide patient screening and make appropriate recommendations
* Select and administer the appropriate evaluation and consult with others regarding interpretation
* Ensure that treatment planning is comprehensive, realistic and involves the patient and/or family
* Demonstrate ability to prioritize treatment
* Implement and adjust therapeutic appropriate programs with specific individualized treatments for an assigned caseload
* Complete appropriate discharge planning in a timely manner.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the hospital is located.
* Inpatient rehab experience preferred
* Current BLS/CPR Card.
