BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C including object-oriented design
1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
Equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education
3+ years professional experience in software development
Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of industry experience in software development
Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a quantitative field.
A willingness to dive deep, experiment rapidly and get things done.
Experience in advertising, ad targeting, ad serving, algorithmic search, or bioinformatics industries.
Experience with building high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems.
Delivered a low-latency, consumer-internet-scale web services operating in a 24x7 environment.
Experience with Spark and Map / Reduce frameworks such as Hadoop.
Delivered a low-latency, consumer-internet-scale web services operating in a 24x7 environment.
Delivered ad targeting, serving infrastructure or metrics and measurements.
Deep hands-on technical expertise, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.

This position starts at $120,700/yr. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
