Our Impact:

The Legal Division provides proactive, timely and cost-effective legal advice responsive to client needs on all legal matters affecting Freddie Mac. We are looking for a new member to join our Legal Operations team to support risk and control functions including business continuity planning, end-user computing, law firm administration, financial process controls, invoice processing functions and user access management risk reduction activities.

Your Impact:

Business Continuity & Business Impact Plans

* Coordinate with BCP owners to maintain business continuity and business impact plans for Legal to ensure corporate guidance around BCPs/BIAs is followed
* Coordinate with enterprise BCP group to conduct and validate out of region testing and documentation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans

End User Computing

* Coordinate with End User Computing (EUC) Program Office and Legal Division EUC Owners to ensure corporate guidance around EUCs is followed
* Support EUC owners in performing periodic assessments to maintain compliance and meet EUC requirements

User Access Management for Non-MAC

* Ensure Legal division complies with corporate access management standards by coordinating with stakeholders to complete access reviews for non-MAC systems.

Infrastructure controls and reporting

* Perform access and control procedures to ensure data and access is well managed per internal procedures and corporate requirements.
* Perform set-up activities and documentation management for law firms and vendors in Legals matter management system, including interface with internal and external parties, data tracking and reporting.
* Perform matter management system access and data updates supporting employee on- and off-boarding.
* Develop in-depth knowledge of billing processes and act as divisional resource for questions, limited data entry and tracking, report generation.

Qualifications

List the Skills and Experience Required

* Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
* 2-4 years of experience working with BCP, invoice processing, compliance or operational risk experience in the financial services industry
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Visio)
