Job Description

We are seeking a Change Manager to join our team to support National Institute of Health (NIH) Center for Technology by delivering Information Technology services and products that ensure NIH scientists and administrative staff receive the IT support they need.

Roles and Responsibilities/Change Manager
* Creates and executes change management strategies to support changes required by a project or initiative.
* Supports the design, development, delivery and management of change communications.
* Assess the change impact
* Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
* Facilitate training
* Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.

You will have the opportunity to help provide the NIH and Health and the Human Services community with a secure and reliable IT infrastructure. You will be at the core of all network changes conducted by the NIH.

IN THIS ROLE, A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE:
* Working with technical review board and change review board as the change representative for NIH CIT Network Services Team.
* Complete change management assessments
* Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
* Identify and manage anticipated resistance
* Consult and coach project teams and management team
* Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
* Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
* Integrate change management activities into project plan
* Evaluate and ensure user readiness
* Track and report issues
* Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
* Support change management at the organizational level
* Manage the change portfolio

Required Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent and eight years related experience
* Minimum of eight years Change Management experience, including principles, methodologies and tools
* Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
* Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to obtain a Public Trust
