Job Description

The Marketing team in Food & Beverage North America is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the equipment and digital product portfolio (such as Quadexx Pro, 3DT CIP, Insights, 8-digit parts etc.). This Marketing Manager will assist and execute the strategies to drive growth and higher margins on $50M of this product portfolio. This role will contribute to the development and execution of product portfolio strategies in close collaboration with internal partners including Field Sales, Corporate Accounts, Segment Marketing, Engineering, Finance, RD&E; and Supply Chain.

Main Responsibilities:

* Assist short and long-term strategies and execution plans for existing products and programs
* Monitor product portfolio health and manage product setup, optimization and rationalization
* Work closely with the segment marketing team on development of new product/ program/service offerings aligned with business and marketing segment strategies
* Develop and maintain relationship with equipment suppliers to improve costs and develop products through collaborative approach
* Manage and resolve all issues in cross functional process such as demand planning/ inventory management, production, digital, service and customer care
* Plan and implement strategies to counter competitors position in marketplace
* Lead assessment of current portfolio/service offerings against key customer requirements and competitive offerings
* Use creativity, analytics and problem-solving techniques to continually improve the sales and profitability of the core product portfolio
* Partner with Sales to drive differentiated programs that lead to new business gains, growth within existing accounts and retention of top accounts
* Develop marketing strategies, customer value propositions, promotional programs and pricing which will meet sales and profit objectives for the portfolio
* Foster collaboration and teamwork across the organization and globally
* Drive results through knowledge-based relationships with other departments, divisions, functions, customers and vendors
* Lead a cross-functional team (RD&E;, Engineering, Sales, Marcomm, Finance, Marketing Operations, Supply Chain & Innovation Deployment) by foster a collaborative environment in which knowledge and new ideas drive growth

Position Details:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree
* 5+ years professional/marketing experience
* Background/ education in chemistry, engineering, food science or microbiology

Preferred Qualifications:

* MBA or Master's
* Product management experience
* Excellent problem solving and quantitative analysis skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated experience managing complex business problems
* Strong organizational, negotiation and project management skills
* A successful track record of working effectively with a sales force must also complement strong relationship-building skills
