Job Overview

We are actively recruiting for a Senior Middleware Engineer Specialist with strong experience in Business Process Management Middleware products including RH PAM, IBM BAW, Pega Unity as well as business integration and Rules products such as Redhat DM and IBM ODM

Some of the core responsibilities involve Engineering of these Business Process Management products, developing application and operational security standards for their usage as well as Secure standard deployment patterns on strategic on-prem and hybrid Cloud platforms including Redhat OpenShift container platforms .

Responsibilities:

* Technical leadership role in Engineering and release of Citi strategic Business Process Management Middleware products such as RH PAM, IBM BAW, Pega Unity and Rules products such as Redhat DM and IBM ODM
* Engineering of Secure BPM services in compliance with Citi standards for application and operational security
* SME engagements with application users of the engineered services to enable developing, onboarding and deploying their application in compliance with engineering standards
* Develop automation for Cloud based Deployment of these BPM middleware for provisioning and management to support agile project rollouts
* Contribute to technical direction and strategic roadmap for the BPM services domain
* Ability to operate independently with limited direct supervision on key engineering project activities including Security certification, Risk and control monitoring as well as SME engagements with application users
* Experience in developing, updating and reviewing of security and compliance guidelines for application and operational users of BPM solutions
* Engineering and implementation of agile deployment CI/CD pipelines for BPM applications to enable rapid application deployment and migration

Requirements:

* Strong hands-on experience with Citi strategic BPM software platforms including RH PAM, IBM BAW, Pega Unity as well as business integration and Rules products
* 5+ years of experience in Engineering and usage of the mentioned products and Infrastructure Technologies delivery with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement
* Proven experience with engineering and release automation of the above-mentioned products
* Experience with secure services engineering including application and operations access controls and audit controls enablement
* Experience with cloud-based services implementation and enablement on on-prem and hybrid cloud platforms
* Hands on experience working with application teams to onboard and adopt and develop their applications based on the engineered Middleware services
* Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
* Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
* Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Effective analytic/diagnostic skills

Education:

* Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
