The Dedicated Lending SAFE Act is an entry level position responsible for contributing to the formulation and implementation of long and short-term strategic plans and objective is to increase market share/penetration and maximize opportunities for growth throughout the marketplace. The Dedicated Lending SAFE Act assists in providing product specialists with qualified referrals for cross-sell. Employees in this role also assist in closing deals across products and coordinate underwriting/credit practices.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in all aspects of the loan application process including; collecting borrower information, consultig a borrower on mortgage options; quoting rates/terms from the system, and addressing follow-ups on the application/mortgage processing
* Monitor application pipeline to ensure key dates (consent, lock, lock expiration, anticipated closing dates) are met
* Coordinate and distribute marketing materials and follow-up on prospective customer leads as needed
* Assist in taking and completing borrower applications as well as follow up on borrower requirements
* Provide assistance to potential applicants pertaining to loan options and terms
* Apply research and analyses skills to gather information and apply judgement based on practice and precedence
* Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
* 1-3 years of relevant experience
* Sales support experience preferred
* This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (Registry) and obtain a unique identifier from the Registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities. As part of this registration process, you must be fingerprinted unless you have fingerprints are on file with NMLS Registry that are less than 3 years old. This position further requires that you maintain and renew that registration on an annual basis, update registration information with the Registry on a timely basis, and provide your unique identifier to consumers as required by applicable SAFE Act regulations and Citi policies and procedures.
