As the Senior Director leading our Americas Human Resources Delivery team, and a critical part of a Globally focused HR team, you will provide a broad range of expertise and lead a team of HR managers and professionals responsible for the deployment of business facing, high impact, high value HR solutions across the Americas. This is a pivotal role that connects Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, HR Operations and cross-functional teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Lead and develop the Americas HR Delivery team of HR professionals, which consists of Managers, Generalists and Employee Relations Specialists.
* Partner with our HR Business Partners on business group specific organization design and organization effectiveness initiatives, and with our centers of expertise on enterprise-wide initiatives
* Establish credibility throughout the organization and set an example as a proactive HR practitioner who earns respect by demonstrating sound understanding of business objectives and thoughtful identification and execution of HR solutions.
* Create and execute change management strategies and action plans that successfully connect leaders and employees with new HR programs and initiatives
* Ensure HR practices and policies are competitive and current, evolving to address the needs and interests of employees. Lead and direct the development and implementation of Global Governance, policies and practices.
* Build and oversee a global Employee Relations Community of Practice and Americas focused Employee Relations Team with deep investigative and legal case work-focus. Provide consultation and leadership for complex employee relations issues, workplace violence prevention, and Labor Relations as needed.
* Partner with our HR Operations team to identify and resolve issues inhibiting employees and managers from obtaining effective self-service for HR transactions and services
* Leverage corporate offerings to meet orientation and training needs, and identify and implement innovative ways to enable delivery of employee development content.
* In partnership with the Diversity and Inclusion team, sustain and further develop an innovative and inclusive workplace culture, and drive Affirmative Action Plans and goal achievement.
* Partner internally with Business Leaders, Human Resources, Legal and Compliance, Internal Audit, and other internal stakeholders as appropriate to develop and implement balanced and thorough solutions aligned with our culture values.
* Drive specific regional and global projects. Including scoping work, planning, conducting analysis, making recommendations, and developing presentations.

REQUIRED:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with relevant certifications
* 12+ years of experience in Human Resources or relevant experience with 6 or more years leading & managing teams including developing first line HR managers.
* Demonstrates an inclusive leadership style with an emphasis on results and developing high performing team members
* Experience identifying and resolving complex issues while assuming leadership roles in ambiguous or unfamiliar situations
* Demonstrated success in developing cutting edge strategy and driving process improvements
* Proven track record of influencing, leading and facilitating large scale strategic initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders
* Experience working and navigating global matrixed organizations
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills, with an ability to persuade and influence, and the ability to build enthusiasm and commitment
* Goal-oriented, proactive, accountable and passionate about driving results with the ability to adjust priorities as needed.
* Strong business, HR and financial acumen, including a strong background in manufacturing, engineering and corporate functions.
* An agile and continuous learner with personal resilience and an ability to deal with ambiguity
* Light travel, primarily domestic and some international
* Preference for a Masters degree

* Exceptional analytical skills. Comfortable working with large amounts of data, formulating insights, constructing recommendations, and communicating with all levels of the organization
* Strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful and probing questions to determine client needs
* Data focused with experience reporting and measuring HR activity to measuring the impact on business outcomes
* Ability to make clear, logical decisions based on facts, taking into consideration the big picture, long and short term effects, and exercising sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive issues
* Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent positive results through influencing, coordinating and managing the efforts of others
