Job Description

Support operational areas for all Veteran Service program work to ensure contractual requirements are achieved. Assist with the maintenance of the operational process for orders, manage relationships and expectations with multiple stakeholders and assemble and support cross - functional teams of technologist and business users. Define implementation plans to construct project schedules, report on project status to keep all stakeholders engaged and informed and proactively manage changes in project scope through effective communication and negotiation. Facilitate meetings in support of project objectives and goals as well as manage multiple concurrent projects with shared resources.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Assist with the management and maintenance of the Veteran Services (VS) operational processes; notify VS Director / Operations Manager of any performance measure shortfalls
* Responsible for coordination and completion of multiple assigned projects, coordinated efforts, and change requests for VS. Facilitate and lead meetings to manage relationships and expectations, report on project status and manage change
* In cooperation with the Program Manager, track contract deliverables to include scope of services, terms and conditions, pricing and billing, performance standards, and follow - up items between internal operational departments and clients; facilitate issue resolution between all parties to ensure all commitments and client expectations are met
* Assistance in the implementation of new VAMCs into the LHI operations based on project management principles with regard to setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities and monitoring and reporting progress while maintaining the scope, cost and time objectives
* Ensure the escalation and resolution of operational issues and concerns
* Assist with the oversight and management of appropriate changes to the operational process to ensure constant improvement

Required Qualifications:

* 3+ years experience in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders and supporting cross-functional teams
* Experience supporting multi - faceted projects resulting in measureable successes
* Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs
* Database experience
* Previous leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* National Career Readiness Certificate
* Demonstrated knowledge of business and technical operational systems
* Knowledge of Project Management principles
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; the ability to work with a diverse group of people / disciplines at all levels of an organization including the ability to present, persuade and provide professional presentation materials to both large and small groups
* Able to create and edit technical / process documents and workflows as well as facilitate meetings and operational process changes
