Job Description
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the day to day clerical responsibilities of a Tyson Distribution Center Inventory department.
Some of the specific duties include but are not limited to: Answer all PER issues for all inbound and outbound loads. Oversee freezer audits and directing the day to day tasks of the shift cycle counters. Outbound and inbound in-transit issues. Daily and weekly reports for Inventory Manager including Chep pallets cost re-work and PER s. Back up weekly WMS reports. Setup and bill out protein. Reconcile Lost and HOA. Heavy e-mail work. Must be willing to cross train in other inventory positions and cover when needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 1-year related experience in transportation/trucking/distribution industry preferred.
Computer Skills: Strong data entry skills required.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal/written communication skills
Must have good phone skills and must be able to work well with others.
