Raytheon Intelligence & Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to support the System Engineering Center. This team, based at Aberdeen Proving Ground, is responsible for the Architecture, Specification, Development and Analysis, Integration, and Verification Testing of Mission Critical equipment in support of Military Air Traffic Control.
The ideal candidate will be a highly enthusiastic team member excited about learning new technologies and development of systems. In this position, which is located in Aberdeen, MD, the intern will have the opportunity to experience hands-on development support of new system capabilities. Specific assignments will be determined based on the candidates background, skill set, and interests. Tasks may include supporting system integration activities, planning integration & qualification activities, creating procedures, performing tests in the labs, and documenting test results.

This position can be a Salary Grade of G04, G05 or NUG based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
* G04 (College Junior by Fall 2021) - must have completed 60 hours of college
* G05 (College Senior by Fall 2021) - must have completed 90 hours of college
* NUG (Post- Graduate-Masters-PhD by Fall 2021) - must have an undergraduate degree and currently enrolled or about to enroll in a graduate degree program
Security Clearance & Other Requirements:
* This position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date
Required Skills:
* Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Project
* Good understanding of engineering fundamentals and evidence of problem solving
* Familiarity and demonstrated interest in system engineering processes, including requirements definition, design, test planning, test implementation, data analysis, and operations support
* Must be a college Junior, Senior or Graduate student by Fall 2021
Desired Skills:
* Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
