Job Description

Raytheon Technologies is seeking engineering support in the domain of information security digital technologies. This effort will support assessment and authorization efforts by reviewing/writing system designs specification and interfaces, updating system security plans, and modifying contingency test plans to ensure the high standard of information security for the Sponsor

The Contractor team shall be required to work with the Sponsor to:

* Identify all system assets and submit tickets for scanning
* Review and update system security plan questionnaires
* Provide compliance insight, guidance and training for new system implementations
* Assist project teams with documenting NIST Special Publication 800-53 Revision 4 security controls
* Monitor/assist project teams to resolve approved Program Of Actions and Milestones (POAMs)
* Assist with testing of information system security controls and documenting test results
* Participate in technical meetings with security representatives and project team
* Provide guidance to project teams on security and compliance including cloud security
* Support Sponsor program activities including identification of issues which impede the Sponsors desire to modernize, advance and transform its security practices

The Contractor team shall be required to have expertise in the following technologies:

* Minimum 10 years of experience
* Demonstrated relevant cyber security experience.
* Understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171 security controls, security practices and procedures
* Knowledge of Cloud system design.
* Knowledge of privacy data security control implementation and implications to a system.
* Knowledge and experience of information systems security policies and practices, state-of-the-art security tools and applications, and IT architectural concepts and frameworks.
* IAT-II (CCNA Security, CY SA+, GSEC, Security +CE, SSCP) or IAM-II Certification (CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC).

Other demonstrated experiences which are highly desired, though not required, include:

* Security policy (technical, personnel, facilities), legal requirements, and consulting and recommending potential cyber security solutions to clients.
* Cloud-based storage technologies, to include Amazon Web Services Elastic Cloud Computing (AWS EC2) environments.
* Software applications and cloud-based applications.
* Big Data/Large scale data infrastructure technologies.
* Certifications (e.g., National Security Telecommunications and Information Systems Security, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CND-AU Certification (Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Information Systems Auditor or GIAC Systems and Network Auditor), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert).
* Documenting systems and processes.
* Assessing risks associated with systems/networks and their environments.
* Data transfer protocols and security.
* XACTA and Microsoft Office Suite products.
