Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks to fill a Manager Level 2 Systems Engineering, Integration amp; Test (SEIT) Engineering position in the Engineering function for our Aurora, Colorado location. This is a dual role encompassing both functional management and technical performance within a program.

He/she will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated abilities to build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching, are a must.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required and the ideal candidate will have demonstrated success collaborating and leading technical teams.

Responsibilities Include:

- Technical contributor or manager in a program role as part of the Aurora Engineering management team.

- Functional oversight for a team of systems engineers of varied disciplines.

- Staffing and workload forecasting; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; employee training and identification and training of skills required to execute on programs.

- Recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, performance management and contract maintenance for contractors working in the business area as required.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor 39;s degree and a minimum of 8 years related experience; 6 years of related experience with a Masters; 4 years of related experience with

a PhD

- Proven demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

- High proficiency in problem solving

- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor 39;s degree in Engineering or other technical discipline

- Active Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance

- Experienced in all aspects of the engineering development lifecycle.

- Effective communication and presentation skills.

Salary Minimum: $134,148

Salary Maximum: $201,222

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
