Title: Payments Business Analyst
Location: Addison, TX (office based position but currently remote work due to COVID-19)
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
* Position responsible for performing detailed and complex financial analysis of various elements of NCRs Payments business, as detailed below:
* Reviewing the Worldpay portfolio for several actions: 1) reviewing for accuracy; 2) analyzing attrition / growth statistics; 3) forecasting portfolio performance; 4) identifying priorities for conversion to NCR Processing.
* Analyzing the ongoing performance of the NCR Payments portfolio, focusing on specific performance and revenue elements: 1) ensuring merchants are being billed properly; 2) reviewing portfolio trends regarding growth, attrition, and margin changes; 3) identifying opportunities for pricing increases / other revenue potential; 4) developing merchant profitability analyses.
* Analyze the TSG (The Strawhecker Group) data, both independently to identify trends / opportunities / risks in the industry generally and as they may impact NCR; and 2) analyzing NCRs data against TSGs data to identify similar actionable elements to improve profitability.
* Work with Finance to develop Functional Costs so as to obtain an accurate picture of merchant profitability and assist in properly pricing.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Accounting/Finance, Statistics or related Business discipline
* Ability to understand complex payment processing services, pricing, and analysis of merchant statements
* 1-5 years business experience with deep analytical skills.
* Excellent skills with key analytical tools Excel, Access, Tableau, and other Office tools.
* Exposure to Database structures and SQL .
* Competent communication skills

* IBM Certification
* Payments experience
