PURPOSE:

Manages the ETO Omni Cloud Infrastructure team. This position requires both strong people management skills and knowledge of the technical area being managed. Knowledge of Cloud (Azure, GCP, etc platforms and enterprise infrastructure technologies required, with knowledge of IaaS development and automation desirable. This position will help drive the continued and evolving adoption of public cloud technologies in the enterprise.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Identify innovative, cost effective ways to provide support from specific area.
* Receive, prioritize and schedule work requests for the group
* Keep partners and leaders informed of the progress/status of work requests
* Work with vendor support on system issues
* Influence and guide business and technical partners in effective use of Cloud technologies
* Direct support of victoriassecret.com digital platform infrastructure
* Help strategize and drive innovation in automation of IaaS and PaaS platforms
* Direct team to craft technical solutions utilizing business requirements
* Work with application partners on issues involving performance concerns
* Plan the maintenance and additions to the system (both hardware and software
* Ensure that system security policies are defined, published and maintained
* Conduct quarterly one-on-one review sessions with all direct reports
* Prepare and deliver an annual review for all direct reports
* Develop and track annual budget.
* Develop staff and ensure succession planning is taking place.
* Provide or recommend required training programs for developing appropriate skills within areas of responsibility.
* Perform administrative functions related to support and project activities.
* Prepare and communicate status, issues, and opportunities to the business.
* Hiring and retention of staff.
* Recommend expenditures as required to meet support requirements.
* Recommend the initiation of support activities and projects
* Recommend standards/directions/technologies.
* Prepare and present operational reports to senior leadership
* Ensure all team SLA requirements are met, with respect to incidents, requests and system uptime
* Ensure that all security guidelines are met, including ensuring patching it up to date and any emerging threats are reacted to promptly

Qualifications

* 7-10 years related experience
* Preferred degree in Information Systems or an equivalent combination of course work and job experience
* 2 or more years of leadership experience within a multi-platform technical environment, in a large matrixed environment
* Strong analytical and written/oral communication skills
* In depth understanding of emerging technologies
* Exhibited success in team and associate career and performance management
* Strong technical background in Linux, Cloud Platforms and other enterprise infrastructure technologies
* Experience in Solaris and Unix Desirable for legacy platform support
* Experience in web application platform design and support desirable
* Understanding of financial aspects of enterprise technology management desirable
* Exhibited ability to understand and adapt new technologies and skills
* Exhibited success in project technical leadership, completion and follow-through
