While most of our product development focus is from concept thru PRQ, our customer's focus starts ramping from PRQ and carries through to the end of support. If you are passionate about making a difference by addressing the challenges that our customers face post-launch, then consider joining the Post-PRQ to End of Support (P2S) team. While this position works across DEG/IAGS, it reports thru the MPE organization.

The technical program manager reports to the VP of the DEG Post-PRQ support (P2S) organization and will be responsible for driving and program managing key initiatives across product development in support of post-launch products. The successful candidate will work closely with partner organizations across DEG, IAGS, IPAS, CQN, PMO, and the BU's.

In this role, responsibilities will include a focus on product/ingredient/IPU execution, quality performance/system, customer response, and overseeing key sustaining operations. Given the function is new, there will be responsibilities leading the development of our sustaining infrastructure, process, and methodologies that enable predictable high-quality execution across product development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Drive consistency in program management tasks across the org

* Proactively identify program issues and risks

* Facilitate Execution meetings and reviews

* Maintain and update detailed schedules with a thorough understanding of dependency management, key milestones, including critical path analysis

* Lead the resolution of issues. Drive the mitigation of risks

* Own implementation and enforcement of quality metrics, technical indicators, and dashboards

* Provide an independent assessment of initiative health and early indicators when work is not on track

* Build a strong alliance with key stakeholders. Communicate and influence peers and senior management effectively

* Derive business metrics to ensure the organization is tracking to its goals. Drive the development of sustainable processes for the organization

* Seek out areas of improvement and collaborate with other technical program and functional managers to continuously improve our post-launch business processes

* Collaborative, flexible and works with diverse groups and teams

* Strong performer with a track record of accomplishments. Resourceful and proactive, with strong customer and results orientation

* Proven experience to assume responsibility and be proactive taking the initiative to address issues, set directions, and meet commitments

* Strong communications and collaboration skills, especially at the executive management level

* Proven track record of effective stakeholder management

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineer or similar degree with 12+ years of experience -OR- a Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineer or similar degree with 8+ years of experience -OR- a PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineer or similar degree with 6+ years of experience in:

* Product development or high-level program leadership roles (e.g. PXT lead, Mission Control lead, Design Manager or TPM)

* Building sustainable processes and coordinating across-org initiatives in support of product execution and/or quality

* Interacting, influencing and has experience presenting to executive management

* Finance and/or operations with past experience managing CapEx and OpEx of teams. Experience with Intel's POR planning and funding cycles

* Managing projects that drive system and process improvement

* Will consider other technical leadership backgrounds and experiences

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.
