As a Sr. Cisco Architect your primary role be will be as a Subject Mater Expert on diverse and challenging engagements at client sites. You will be responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of Cisco solutions and related technologies.

Responsibilities and Duties

What youll do at Insight:

* Serve as the subject matter expert for Cisco Networking, Data Center and Security solutions.
* Participate in the specification of customer requirements and implementation plans.
* Manage the planning, implementation and operation of customer network projects from both technical and communication aspects.
* Mentor other resources and at times act as a lead for your team.
* Assist sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer meetings and presentations.

Qualifications and Skills

What youll need to join Insight:

* A bachelors degree in a technical discipline or demonstrated performance in a technical work environment
* A current CCIE certification in Cisco Networking
* Minimum eight years of experience architecting, designing and implementing advanced network solutions
* Previous consulting/professional services experience
* Strong ability to cultivate relationships with clients, Insight teammates, and partners
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate both technical and abstract concepts in a clear and concise manner
* Effective multi-tasking skills

Demonstrated experience with the following:

* Supporting Consulting services sales
* Participating in client-facing sales calls
* Developing the scope and price for complex network solutions
* Creating proposals, RFP responses and statements of work
* Architecting and implementing complex Cisco infrastructure solutions

Advanced knowledge that includes, but is not limited to:

* Design, implementation and operation of high-availability and multi-layer secure network infrastructures
* Layer2/Layer3 boundaries
* Routing design and protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc.)
* Switching design and protocols
* Cisco wireless and ISE knowledge and experience

Network design using architectural and configuration best practices

* A solid work ethic
* Ability to maintain an optimistic, flexible attitude in a very fast-paced environment
* Proven follow-up, follow-through and communication skills
* Highly motivated and results-driven
* Proven track record of delivering exceptional service to clients
