PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Revenue focused responsible for reviewing complex contracts to determine proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606. Activities include contract review, evaluation and documentation, reconciliations, summarize results and work with business partners to facilitate order best practices.

Identifies areas of risk and opportunity, partnering with Management to implement procedures to mitigate risk and facilitate transparent order processing, reporting and analytics.

Leads the implementation of revenue accounting principles, including researching, documenting, educating/training the team, and executing related projects.

Manages reconciliations and related schedules, including but not limited to: revenue reconciliations with our advertising partners, revenue disclosures, deferred revenue, cost/equity investments, and notes receivable.

Manages month-end close process for assigned busines units and consolidated division accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP and iHeartMedia policies. Responsibilities include:

* Telling the story - P&L analysis and general ledger account review
* Partner with finance, sharing information and data, enabling the business to make better operating decisions
* Follow all key controls to ensure SOX compliance
* Journal entry preparation
* Accounts payable review and approval
* Balance sheet reconciliations

Prepare schedules for Corporate Accounting and external audit requests.

Manages and participates in special projects or support tasks, as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

* Bachelors degree in Accounting and 3-5+ years of relevant experience required
* Advanced Excel knowledge including understanding and using formulas and manipulating large sets of data
* Strong financial information systems experience preferred (COGNOS, NetSuite, Peoplesoft, etc.)

Other:

* Possess and demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, facilitation, oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work under minimal supervision, independently and/or as a member of a project team.
* Ability to multitask and to prioritize workload under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment must escalate appropriate issues to management in a timely fashion.
* Must be detailed oriented with strong attention to accuracy and problem solving. Following-up until resolved skills are a must.
* Skills in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.)
