The Regulatory Affairs Analyst is responsible for ensuring and maintaining compliance with specific applicable laws and regulations relating to pharmacy licensure impacting the business .
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Keeps up-to-date on laws/regulations that impact the business, including pharmacy licensure requirements.
Responsible for obtaining pharmacy licensure in required states, maintaining annual license renewals and reviewing any new license requirements
Responsible for applicable reporting tied to pharmacy licensure requirements
Develops and maintains working knowledge of those state and federal laws/regulations that govern the business related to pharmacy licensure.
Constantly reviews information about new laws/regulations and changes in interpretation on laws/ regulations obtained from various sources related to pharmacy licensure.
Ensures that all affected organizational units are informed of new laws/regulations and how they impact the business.
Produces concise and accurate written summaries of any new laws or regulations related to pharmacy licensure.
Discusses new laws/regulations in a thorough, yet understandable manner.
Performs original research on points of laws that may arise as issues of concern.
Responsible for tracking and maintaining comprehensive records of all pharmacy licensure and report filings.

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS; 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Training in the legal field preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication required.
Ability to research and summarize information.
