Facebooks Global Operations team exists to help them. Within Global Operations, Community Operations aims to create a safe, inclusive environment for the people building community on our platforms by understanding the impacts of global and local trends and addressing and preventing negative experiences. Platform Process team within Facebook Community Operations plays a critical role in scaling integrity tools and experiences by implementing platform-level solutions across Global Operations. The team partners closely with product, engineering, data analytics and global ops teams and executes on the adoption of existing platform and systems as well as identifying new technologies that create an efficient and scalable workforce experience. This role is for a manager to lead our new Platform Process vertical within Trust and Safety. As a manager, you will lead a team of system project managers, work with cross-functional partners (Product Management, Engineering, Policy and other Operations teams) to scope and execute on technology projects. You are a resilient self-starter who is eager to learn, and have experience in defining and executing on strategies. You are collaborative and a proven team leader and influencer with experience in leading both individual contributors and managers. You will work directly with leadership across several strategic areas of the organization such as product, engineering, and operations to implement uncharted ground-breaking technologies across our Global Operations.

Manager, Systems Project Management, Community Operations Responsibilities

* Lead a team of high performing systems project managers responsible for leading complex programs within Global Operations

* Establish engagement and support framework within the business and newly created team

* Establish team goals and work with direct reports on strategies for executing, measuring progress and sharing results

* Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to a team of project managers

* Work with a global management team to deliver cohesive and coordinated development strategies

* Be prepared to directly manage large projects and coordinate across all stakeholders as needed to ensure the right execution, communication and resources are in place to deliver on key milestones

Minimum Qualifications

* 10+ years of experience working in large-scale operations, domains such as online operations, informational systems, management consulting, process improvements

* 3+ years of people management experience

* Demonstrated experience influencing across functional boundaries and/or globally

* Analytical and problem-solving experience

Preferred Qualifications

* MBA or Masters Degree

* Program management and process-improvement expertise

* Experience with SaaS/ML/AI or Automation technologies

* Experience influencing partners through technology transformations or implementations
