$1,500 Sign-on bonus offered to eligible experienced Nurse Tech's! $$$ Full Time position, 8 hour shifts working in the PACU at Northwest Medical Center , This position will cover shifts Mon-Fri ( no weekend or holiday shifts) The Nurse Tech in the PACU department (Recovery Room) transports patients and assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients post surgical procedures under direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

The Nurse Tech in the PACU department (Recovery Room) transports patients and assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients post surgical procedures under direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

Assists with clerical duties (e.g. admissions, transfers, filing, copying, logs) , transcription of orders, utilizing the 2 patient ID verification process, ordering and stocking of forms and supplies, maintain department supplies and equipment, to include maintenance and repair services. Cleans, sterilizes, stores and prepares other supplies.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

One (1) year experience in hospital or nursing home preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS
