As a Supv Team Lead - Tech Infra in the Construction Industries Group CIO organization, your role will have accountability of ensuring internal business partners are supported in delivering value to their organizations and customers. You and your team will be the front-line of engagement with Construction Industries Earthmoving business partners. This role reports to an Information Technology Manager Business Engagement.

This will be accomplished by building relationships with business partners to fully understand their direction and requirements, representing IT service providers to help prioritize and fulfill requests, and by leading a small team of employees who assist in delivering these business outcomes for All Things IT. The incumbent will be lead through winning the right way and have a strong desire for adding value to business partners through continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

* Single Point of Engagement for facility information technology.
* Build relationships with business partners to fully understand their direction and needs, including an understanding of their OPACC Improvement Agenda (OIA), present challenges, and key strategic opportunities
* Lead and serve a team with responsibility for delivering business outcomes directly and indirectly for All Things IT with direct leadership for Victoria Texas and Wamego, Kansas Caterpillar facilities
* Supervisor located on-site at the Victoria, TX facility with supervisor accountability for Victoria and Wamego.
* Be a though leader, Innovator, and change agent with accountability to communicate changes for improving or implementing technologies to business partners
* Competent to perform project management, and development/deployment assignments without close supervision; normally assigned the more complex aspects of systems work
* Provides application and infrastructure technology leadership, guidance, and assistance to other team members
* Consults with the customer to gather requirements related to application, infrastructure, and digital technology, provides guidance through standard process to deploy/enhance technical solutions
* Collaborates with Enterprise resources to deploy systems technology components based on requirements gathered from customers
* Works independently on complex infrastructure technology components that may be used by one or more applications or systems
* Provides IT Security and Compliance awareness, guidance to team members, and established governance practices/standard work
* Integrates processes across functional organizations.
* Works directly on complex technical problem identification and resolution, including responding to off-shift and weekend support calls

Required Qualifications:

* Relevant degree, technical certification, or equivalent IT experience.
* Excellent relational skills
* Ability to be a proactive self-starter
* Ability to lead and coach teams
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of the relevant computing hardware and software; infrastructure elements, and current development processes and tools.
* At least five years of experience within IT or related field (IT Audit, IT Procurement, etc.)
* Work related systems or infrastructure technology experience
* Strong knowledge of Caterpillar policies and procedures, and a general understanding of Caterpillars organization.

Desired Qualifications:

* Proven problem-solving and appropriate risk-taking awareness skills
* IT site support experience
* Project Management experience
