About This Position

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our Client Experience team in Individual Investors. In this exciting new role, you will help to create our vision and strategy for the digital experiences that will bring our unique value proposition to life for our investors. For this position, we expect you to have experience building retirement and/or investment-related capabilities for end-investors. We are looking for a tech-savvy professional with an understanding of the financial services industry, competitive landscape, and client needs. You will operate with an agile mentality and passion for digital to create products and services that will help investors reach their financial goals with T. Rowe Price.

Role Summary

The Senior Product Owner acts as the product familys economic and creative steward and is responsible for client and business outcomes delivered through the execution of a clear product strategy and vision. You will lead large-scale, groundbreaking initiatives and have responsibility for multiple products in a product family. You may lead multiple product teams with direct leadership for product owners and product analysts while also providing matrixed leadership to technology, design, legal, compliance, and other subject matter leaders required to lead and enhance the entire product family. Senior Product Owners demonstrate a high degree of commercial judgment and business knowledge. They negotiate regularly with management and business partners, providing client insight and recommendations on the strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

Develops Product Vision and Strategy: Develops and maintains a clear vision for the product family, including technical, external market, and internal strategic perspectives. Establishes road map for assigned product(s). Contributes to the technical direction and conducts relevant research to inform enablement strategies. Uses quantitative and qualitative research to establish and communicate the product and product family vision as well as the overall design and delivery strategy. Evangelizes the product vision and strategy throughout the organization.

Achieves Client and Business Results: Through leadership of a cross-functional teams, which could include marketing, technology, design, and other business unit subject matter leaders, ensures products meet and/or exceed standards for business performance and client satisfaction by closely monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting the metrics to assess the performance of products against key results (such as sales, new accounts, lead and referral generation, etc.). Develops and implements strategies and tactics to meet the desired business goals for assigned product(s).

Manages and Allocates Resources: Helps to ensure the firms investment is maximized across the range of assigned products. Reallocates budget as needed to ensure the highest-value initiatives are prioritized and appropriately funded. Partners across functions to ensure business and technical teams are resourced with top talent to sustain high-quality product development.

Qualifications

Required:

* Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

* Demonstrated experience developing products in the Asset Management, Wealth Management or Advisory industry

* 8+ years of total relevant work experience

* Familiarity with Agile frameworks

Preferred:

* A-CSPO and/or SAFe certified

* MBA, or other specialized accreditation (CFP, CIMA, CPA)

* Established industry network

* Experience stewarding external suppliers and agency relationships
