General Purpose of Job
This role will develop and execute on communications strategies in support of Lincolns People, Place and Brand organization which comprises all facets of HR, corporate brand and advertising, diversity and inclusion, corporate social responsibility, strategic real estate, business continuity, and Lincolns enterprise crisis management efforts. This role will primarily focus on supporting communications both internal and external for the for the corporate business continuity, crisis management and real estate functions, as well as the corporate marketing, brand and advertising functions. This role will also lead special, often enterprise-wide projects in the HR space.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage proactive internal and external communications strategies for the areas he/she supports.
* End-to-end communications planning from strategy development to tactical execution.
* Manage internal communications for multiple audiences employees within the People, Place and Brand organization and employees across the Lincoln enterprise as appropriate.
* Develop and manage communications plans for large-scale corporate projects and initiatives.
* Develop tailored communications for senior executives to represent strong thought leadership, internally and externally.
* Be a strong relationship builder able to build trust with senior executives and colleagues across the organization.
The Ideal Candidate will:
* Confident, comfortable communicator with very strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong crisis communications skills takes action confidently in uncertain or complex situations and can craft clear, thoughtful communications for various audiences with limited direction.
* Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations.
* Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
* Serves as a consultative communication partner to internal stakeholders Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
* Develops all internal and external communications for his/her area of responsibility (memos, talking points, articles, scripts, presentations, etc.)
* Leads the planning and execution of special events, internal and/or external, relevant to the program of work for his/her assigned area of responsibility.
* Builds strong relationships with senior executives and colleagues across the organization.
* Establishes benchmark and performance metrics to track communication effectiveness.

4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required
Experience
5 - 7+ Years of Corporate communications, internal and/or external communications experience that directly aligns to the responsibilities of this role. (Required )
