You don't have to be a sales, partner, product, or industry expert yourself, but your course development skills need to be, dare we say, epic. You'll spend your days working with internal and external stakeholders, shaping the content and user experience to make sure it stays relevant and addresses the defined need.
Description:
Join the Partner Enablement team as a Learning Designer! Salesforce consulting partners are involved in almost 70% of customer implementations which makes it critical for use to deliver training at scale. Our team is in charge of providing Salesforce Partners (consultants, digital agencies, resellers) with a way to learn by presenting users with a targeted curriculum for learning that breaks up courses into digestible bites. We collaborate with partner SMEs, alliance leaders, stakeholders, and enablement experts to bring Salesforce skills to our partner ecosystem.
Your Impact:
In your role you will work on a cross functional team as a course developer responsible for: 1) reviewing role-based learning for our global partners, 2) developing assets to include in the role-based curriculum, and 3) bringing your expertise in authoring content and leveraging enablement tools to a team of passionate educators to help build an industry-leading learning design function.
You'll be working on:
* Reviewing and Re-imaging Scaled and Interactive Curriculums and Courses
* Build consulting partner role-based curricula, that are scaled, interactive and social
* Assist in the development of standards and practices for the development and deployment of courses and curriculum for a variety of partner roles
* Tools, Templates and Checklists
* Participate in needs assessment and review instructional design standards
* Review materials in current practice and external benchmarks
* Create professional materials that are accessible and focused on the targeted outcomes.
* Content Development
* Select and use a variety of techniques to define and sequence the instructional content, objectives, and strategies
* Select, modify, or develop instructional materials
* Design instruction that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners
* Evaluate and assess instruction and its impact on learners and the business
You have:
* 1-3 years in adult learning, education, instructional design, or e-Learning
* Experience translating complex concepts into an easy to understand and digestible format; an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, demanding environment.
* Exceptional attention to detail, passion for quality and accountability and a proactive approach to work.
* Experience using content authoring tools
* Comfort working in an Agile environment
* An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, demanding environment
* Demonstrated high standards for quality with the need to get to market fast
* Proven experience developing competency / skills gap analyses
Desired:
* Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Education or similar field; experience using SAM, ADDIE or similar methodologies.
* Experience writing for sales, partner, product, industry, and/or technology.
* Familiarity with the software product implementation or with implementing Salesforce products
* Understanding and experience in working with Consulting Partners (SIs), ISVs and customers
