A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants and other experts builds close relationships with each customer, providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection and operational strategies. The Performance Foodservice team delivers delicious food, but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams. Job Description The Business Development Manager position will perform the following duties:

* Prospects, sells and maintains a profitable base of multi-unit customer accounts
* Promotes and sells Preferred Vendor Programs, Corporate Brands and Marketing Programs to maximize optimum profitability.
* Maintains relationships with vendor management within their region
* Implements new sales programs and determines pricing strategies
* Determines pricing strategies at appropriate profit margin levels
* Develops and delivers professional sales presentations
* Maintains a strong working product knowledge, current product literature, and selling skills
* Informs management continually of current market conditions and competitive changes in the marketplace
* Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates and develops sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company
* Establishes yearly goals and objectives using independent judgment and discretion, and in conjunction with VP of Sales

Required Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: 4 - 6 years of Sales / Marketing or related area within foodservice industry. Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelors in Sales / Marketing or related areas
