This position is based at Peterbilt's Division Office in Denton, Texas, where we have been headquartered since 1992 and manufacturing since 1980. Requisition Summary
The Dealer Development group is responsible for preserving and maintaining a strong and successful network of independent dealerships representing the Peterbilt brand. The team works with dealers on the development and execution of comprehensive business plans leading to the successful management and financial stability of each location. Important aspects of the job include contract management, performance management, market growth and expansion as well as business continuity and succession planning. This role will provide data analytics and support to the entire department including the Technician Program team, and the Dealer Development Management team.
Here's what you will do in this role:
* Provide analysis and performance data for Peterbilt dealers based on financial statements, truck, parts, service, finance and leasing results.
* Develop, manage and maintain the Peterbilt Technician Program data and reporting structures.
* Support the Peterbilt Dealer Development team's analytical projects.
* Create and manage surveys for the Peterbilt Dealer Network for new data analyses and reports.
* Produce and distribute ad-hoc and routine reports, which indicate Peterbilt dealer's performance and growth across a variety of metrics.
* Create presentations for senior management as needed.
* Develop, analyze and produce high-quality technician & mobile service reports to support dealer expansion activities.
* Analyze, develop and produce reports regarding the Peterbilt Technician Institute.
* Support Peterbilt Technician Institute activities.
* Create customized maps using Maptitude for use in proposals, technician/mobile service reports, and senior management presentations.
* Identify, support and complete department Six Sigma project initiatives.
You're going to need this to be successful:
* 2+ years previous full time work experience strongly preferred
* Technically savvy, ability to quickly learn complex software
* Strong software skills including Tableau (or equivalent business intelligence tool) and Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft Excel, Access and Powerpoint) required
* Knowledge of R and/or Python analytical programming language a plus
* Graphic Information Systems (GIS) experience is a plus
* High attention to detail, results-driven work ethic, and strong analytical skills are essential
* Ability to interpret and visually represent complex data
* Ability to effectively communicate and explain complex analytical concepts to a non-analytical audience
* Outstanding problem solving skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to develop trusting business relationships
* Ability to work independently with a remote team
* Up to 5% travel required
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business related field is required.
