Job Description:
* Cleaners are responsible for decontaminating, disinfecting, cleaning, and supplying all areas across multiple buildings in SAS Rochester. The areas include SCIF and non SCIF cleanrooms, ESD labs, labs, offices, hallways, restrooms/shower rooms, cafeteria, kitchens, storage areas, entrances both inside & outside, lobbies both inside & outside, manufacturing areas, machine shops, copy rooms, war rooms, stair towers, labs, storage rooms, docks & dock bays, recycle rooms etc.
Essential Functions:
* Sweeping, dust mopping, vacuuming, and wet mopping of all flooring types. Operation of specific floor cleaning equipment to accomplish these tasks. The equipment includes automatic floor scrubber both walk behind & riding, floor polisher/burnisher, wet vacuum, vacuums & upholstery cleaners
* Disinfect & clean offices, hallways, restrooms/shower rooms, cafeteria, kitchens, storage areas, entrances both inside & outside, lobbies both inside & outside, manufacturing areas, machine shops, copy rooms, war rooms, stair towers, labs, storage rooms, docks & dock bays, recycle rooms, refrigerators, microwaves & trash compactors.
* Stocking paper towel dispensers, hand sanitizers, soap dispensers throughout the buildings
* Spot clean walls, doors & railing, dusting all non-obstructed areas, horizontal areas, overhead light fixtures, vents & diffusers.
* Empty & transport recyclable (paper, cardboard, wood, metal, & beverage containers) to larger containers at building docks daily.
* Clean windows inside & outside front entrance & lobbies, doors, spot clean walls, spot clean chairs & carpet spills (utilizing upholstery cleaner)
* Clean Fan rooms & Equipment rooms
* Office & room blitzing (top to bottom cleaning) as requested when customers move out of office, labs, manufacturing areas etc.
* Water flowers outside entrances & lobbies (Spring, Summer & Fall)Cross trained in Cleanroom Decontamination & ESD Lab Decontamination cleaning
* Working outside emptying waste containers, cigarette butt containers, washing windows/doors & sweeping entrances & lobbies.
* Follows applicable quality systems procedures and processes.
* Physical requirements: bending, lifting 50 lbs., pulling, pushing, reaching and grasping, repetitive hand motion, standing, walking, twisting, stooping & frequent arm movement
* Adhere to L3Harris Corporate Code of Conduct
Qualifications:
* Requires a High School Diploma or 2+ years' working in a facilities support position
