Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in preparing risk assessments and annual audit plans for clients
* Assist engagement management to successfully complete project objectives
* Advisor to team and client with knowledge of key federal guidance related to risk and control requirements such as OMB A-123, GAO Green Book, and NIST Risk Management framework (RMF)
* Conduct business process and requirements analysis to help advise clients on key architectural decisions concerning the governance, risk & compliance platform, business processes, and supporting technologies
* Evaluate risks related to requirements management, business process definition, testing processes, internal controls, project communications, training, and organizational change management

Qualifications:

* A minimum of three years of experience performing financial audit readiness, goverance, risk, compliance; US Federal government consulting experience preferred
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university; CPA certification preferred
* Demonstrated experience / knowledge in areas of: A-123, financial audit readiness, federal financial audit, enterprise risk, and federal financial management
* Expertise conducting risk and control program assessments and mitigation activities following federal requirements such as OMB A-123 and NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
* Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* Ability to travel to support firm engagements
* U.S. citizenship required and an active U.S. Federal government Secret security clearance
