Consumer and Community (CCB) Global Finance & Business Management Office:

The Business Planning and Analysis team is part of Consumer and Community Banking Global Finance & Business Management Office and is responsible for developing an integrated planning and management process that supports the successful execution of CCB Operations business objectives.

The Business Analysis Associate supports CCB Operations Fraud & Consumer Protection Services and their Leadership Teams as well as interfaces with key stakeholders in Human Resources, Finance, and Controls on financial and performance planning. This role requires the ability to communicate information concisely, both verbally and in presentation form, and the ability to work closely with Senior Management to balance financial and business goals.

General Requirements for Role

General responsibilities are to provide recommendations to Senior Management regarding financial and operations planning in order to meet expectations set forth in the budget and planning process, including support analytics and forecasting. Primary responsibilities of this role include managing the BP&A relationship and support for Merchant Services Operations Leadership; understanding and communicating volume / demand forecasting, capacity planning, business analysis, service level outlook and performance and executive reporting & analysis.

More specific responsibilities:

* Partner with the BP&A leadership team to formulate strategies to achieve customer and financial objectives while driving integration activities
* Conduct analytical projects in support of process improvement across multiple teams and resources
* Use analytic tools to inform the business of risks and opportunities and prepare detailed business analysis to explain performance results
* Provide leadership to a cross-functional BP&A team structure that prepare detailed integrated forecasts across multiple operations segments, lines of business and geographic locations
* Design management reporting packages to communicate business result transparency to all constituents
* Ability to analyze, interpret and translate metric performance across functions and across different lines of business
* Ability to package and present key business insight in formal executive presentations
* Possess strong interpersonal skills for partnering with various levels of the organization and influencing results
* Develop cross-functional knowledge in understanding impact of performance and trends that impact decisions on desired business strategies
* Demonstrating strong problem solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment

Successful candidates must be able to:

Qualifications

* 5+ years in financial services industry preferred
* 5+ Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting experience preferred
* Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret large amounts of data and its impact in both operational and financial areas
* Bachelors degree is required
* Superior written and oral presentation / communication skills the ability to convey complex information simply and clearly to senior leadership
* Demonstrated management and leadership skills preferably in a large company
* Demonstrated understanding of business value drivers and aligning teams to achieve business objectives
* Significant forecasting experience required, strong modeling background is a plus
* Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret large amounts of data
