JPMorgan Wealth Management (~$400B in AUS) offers a wide variety of investment products and services through J.P. Morgans advisors across Chase Wealth Management (CWM) and J.P. Morgan Advisors as well as Digital Wealth Management and You Invest platforms. It spans across ~4,000 Advisors that work out of 3,500 branches and 21 offices. The Divisional Director of Wealth will report directly to the CEO of Chase Wealth Management and be responsible for leading a team of Regional Directors Wealth within the assigned geography.
Responsibilities:
Transform the business by partnering with Senior Leaders to set strategy related to field priorities and act as an escalation point for field feedback.
Attract and retain top talent RD-Ws including maintaining an active pipeline with recruiting meetings. Expectations include active networking, sourcing, and pipeline development with a focus on Diversity and Inclusion.
Set strategy for the division and lead the RDWs to coach/develop MD-Ws on top priorities including Recruiting, Performance Management, Branch Integration, Change Management, & Professional Development. Coaching would include educating, practicing, show coaching, observing, and debriefing. Expectations include branch visits, recruiting meetings, scorecard reviews & deep dives into opportunity areas.
Partner with leaders across CCB to maintain the focus on One Chase and field connectivity between Investments and other branch lines of businesses s, and our Asset Wealth Management business
Lead Change Management for the field including setting and leading communication, messaging, and rollout strategy for all new initiatives to the field to ensure delivery at scale including all pilot program
Create a culture of client and employee obsession by ensuring that RD-Ws, MDWs and Advisors have the tools and support needed to help clients; specific focus on Client Engagement Framework, Advisor Central, and ongoing technology, product, and operating model enhancements
Connect with clients and the community through client events & community engagement (Chase Private Client, Good Works, VLG, BRGs etc.)
Instilling a rigorous business review process to ensure business execution and practice management. Measured effectiveness with quarterly business reviews with RD-Wealth, regular field visits, and deep dive on opportunity areas
Develop & execute a Diversity and Inclusion plan including partnership with D&I program leads (Advisor Development Program, etc.)
Drive appropriate steps to maintain a culture of controls in the field
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree and FINRA Series 7, 9/10 (or equivalent) and 66 (or equivalent) required, in addition to meeting FINRA continuing education requirements
15+ years proven experience coaching and managing multiple layers of management and employees in the organization
Excellent strategic vision; understands the direction of the business and industry; can articulate vision to motivate and influence others; Advanced knowledge of capital markets and product acumen, and keen interest in the financial markets
Ability to effectively lead, coach and manage large organizations remotely
Proven ability to lead through change to support culture of accepting missteps in order to achieve success
Innovative thinker able to drive future engagement with customers to provide exceptional experience
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and to proactively collaborate with all other areas of CCB
