SCHEDULE: Full-time
The Manager of Transplant Quality Management designs, implements, and maintains the Transplant Quality Improvement Plan that is informed by current health care trends and incorporates research utilization and research conduct. Participates in JCAHO, CMS and UNOS readiness by serving on various committees, assisting with assessing all department's compliance with current standards and providing continuing education on quality-related topics to personnel. Provides leadership, education, and mentoring of all personnel in quality assessment, data and financial management, reporting, and quality improvement initiatives that maintain professional practice standards.
Largo Medical Center is an all private room, 455-bed statutory teaching hospital serving Tampa Bay area residents from three locations in Pinellas County. The hospitals Transplant Institute of Florida performs kidney and liver transplants, and the hospital recently added an LVAD program.
The hospital features a wide of comprehensive programs including behavioral health, Florida Breast Institute, cardiovascular services, clinical research, emergency care, imaging and diagnostic services, the Florida Orthopedic Pavilion, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, spine and neurological care at the Florida Spine & Neuro Center and weight loss/bariatric surgery at the Florida Bariatric Centers.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Business, MBA preferred.
Experience:
Three years of hospital based Quality Assurance/Process Improvement experience. Previous experience in QA/QI data management and statistical analysis. JCAHO and/or CMS experience required UNOS experience preferred.
Licensure:
Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
Training:
CPHQ certification or incumbent must obtain certification within one year of hire
