Southern Industrial is looking for a Purchasing Specialist at a maintenance site in Wilmington, NC.

Facilitates maintenance operations by entering, validating and maintaining invoices in a client specific program (SSS). acquisition of goods and services.

Essential Functions/Duties

* Learn and navigate through all purchasing systems, document processes, and standard operating procedures.
* Validate non-Southern Industrial invoices in iFLow
* Maintain list of SSS required requisitions (ie. For Gage Lab, etc.)
* Review all GE/USTG add sheets for cutter grind
* Review and close Maximo's for cutter grind
* Input requisitions for Project Engineers in STAS and iProcurement
* Input requisitions for Engineering and Finance
* Assist with reporting and monitoring of spending
* Support the Purchasing / Tooling A3 from an operational perspective
* Create digital tool usage reports
* Support Finance on SSS Expense Monitoring - using Finance spotfire tool
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

* Advanced computer experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent data entry skills
