SUMMARY

Morley Moss, Inc has two Service Account Manager openings in Sunnyvale/Dallas and in Fort Worth. As a Service Account Manager you will be the primary contact for the Client, General Contractor, and/or Property Manager responsible for customer service and meeting SAM goals. SAM goals are to meet customers' electrical needs in a way that will lead to new and repeat business opportunities.

SAM will be held to a standard based on the TGCQI concept:

The position requires at least 3 years of account / project management / estimating experience in the Construction Industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Pursue known opportunities for account growth and new business involving Senior Service Account Manager, Executive Account Manager or VP Service Accounts;
* Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed; quality standards met, and projects / accounts are profitable;
* Approves Change Orders and invoices and is responsible for collections;
* Understands company capabilities and services, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client;
* Works closely with the project team to maintain continuous knowledge of project status to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project;
* Ensures client issues are handled efficiently, informing the Senior Service Account Manager, Executive Account Manager or VP Service Accounts of any potential problems;
* Reviews all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, function spec, tech spec, etc.) to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met;
* Provides regular two-way communication between the client/customer and team, providing strong team representation and proper client/customer expectations;
* Reports to the Senior Service Account Manager, providing weekly updates on all accounts or projects including monthly status and CTC reports;
* Meet with clients/customers on a weekly basis to continue to grow the business relationship
* All work will be performed according to company policies, values and standards, as well as the company's strategic objectives;
* Provide technical and problem resolution assistance to Service Technicians. Directly supervise critical work situations as required;
* Perform job-site visits and provide estimating information for service sales as needed. Utilizing Accubid prepare small service estimates and proposals
* Possess and demonstrate strong industrial and commercial electrical service and maintenance skills, including electrical troubleshooting skills;
* Maintain current required licenses/certificates for the classifications of the work supervised; Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the current NEC, NETA, NFPA 70E, OSHA and other technical and safety codes and requirements;
* Enforce compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, safety standards;
* Maintain professional relationships with owners/contractors and peers;
* Assist with GF, Foreman and Superintendent daily duties;
* Mentor and identify potential leaders;
* Identify better processes
* Ability to be on-call and answer when called during business or non-business hours.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

* Minimum 3 years of account / project management/ estimating experience in the construction industry;
* Undergraduate degree or Journeyman Electrical License or equivalent combination of education and experience;
* Proven Account Management skills that create, maintain and enhance customer relationships;
* Demonstrated Technical experience using software, hardware, networks, etc.;
* High initiative and proven experience working well in a team environment;
* Demonstrated experience handling stressful situations and deadline pressures;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Office;
* Experience using Accubid or Live Count;
* Experience using Bluebeam;
* MS Project proficiency;
* Demonstrated experience interacting with clients
