What youll achieve

As a Senior Active Directory Administrator on the IT Service Delivery team, you will manage the life cycle of user accounts from creation through disposition. The AD Admin will be responsible for maintaining access controls to network resources as well as enterprise applications. In addition, you will support business needs by responding to user requests for user creation, changes to user authorizations, and user off-boarding. Some of the tasks you will be responsible for working closely with desktop and server administrators to structure and define appropriate Group Policy and scripting, related to directory hierarchy, objects, and structure. Create, implement, manage and maintain Security and Delegation Model that uses AD role-based administration.

* Respond to user request through emails, phones and Microsoft Teams; facilitate Active Directory administrative tasks, integration needs, and business requirements.

* Identify, isolate and resolve problems.

* Work in conjunction with the technical support staff to implement immediate resolutions to more critical problems.

* Act as team/project leader on one or more initiatives or projects

* Arrange for or provide training to staff

* Evaluate implemented solutions and practices, identify opportunities and recommend solutions for continuous improvements

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of information systems technology and disseminate that knowledge to the organization

Essential Requirements

* 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 6+ years with a Masters degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience

* 5+ years minimum experience as a Windows 2012/2016/2019 and Active Directory services administrator and/or Tier II Help Desk with AD Expertise
* Hands-on experience in supporting Microsoft Windows 2012/2016/2019, Active Directory, ADFS, MS PKI, DFS, and GPO validation and design
* Excellent understanding of all IT hardware
* Able to effectively convey technical aspects to senior leadership and/or customers
* Good understanding of industry standards, best practices and emerging technologies
* Ability to prioritize projects and/or deliverables; ability to work effectively with senior management

Desirable Requirements

* ITIL V4 Certification
