Product Manager/Product Owner

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you will Achieve:

Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities. Take lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner by providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements. You will collaborate with stakeholders and Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value ROI to define features and requirements and incorporate feature requests into product roadmaps.

You will:

* Incorporate security requirements / acceptance criteria into features and stories, create / maintain user stories and define acceptance criteria
* Set sprint goals, groom and prioritize backlog, write acceptance tests and work with release managers to plan the teams features into the broader release scope, follow progress of work throughout sprints
* Assess the Agile Maturity of the team and organization and work with the Scrum Master to coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team
* Collaborate with architecture team to implement architectural vision in relation to the features being requested by the business
* Manage stakeholder expectations messaging out to multiple business units and the development team

Essential Requirements:

* Experienced being in a product management/product owner role for a software development team that applies Scrum principles, practices, and theory
* Experience writing requirements as a Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, or Product Manager or Certified Product Owner
* Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle with knowledge of software development and web technologies with an understanding of different methods of gathering and documenting requirements (User Story Mapping, Use Case Diagrams, Sequence Mapping, Wireframes, Flowcharts, Mind Maps, System Context Diagrams, etc.)
* Proven experience in working with development teams to write user stories that are consumable within a single sprint written in BDD and refined with TDD best practices
* Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.

Desirable Requirements:

* General knowledge of the technologies used by our team (Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Java, Spring Boot, SUSE Linux operating system, Docker, Kubernetes)
* Bachelors degree in CS or equivalent major
