The Apple Pay Team is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to lead internal and external beta software programs across several verticals within Apple Pay. The candidate will help cultivate, manage and drive key relationships cross functionally within Apple (Engineering, QA, Operations, Product, Legal, etc.) as well as with external partners to collect and process product quality feedback and champion high-impact issues to ensure the high quality releases. The candidate will possess expertise in operations, global payments, customer (internal and external) experiences and preferably have a background in program management and/or third party partner relations. As a Software Beta Program Engineering Project Manager you will be responsible for working to ensure product readiness for exciting and innovative payment products, before launch. A successful candidate would create a well structured process and utilize a strong technical background as well as be flexible to prioritize and problem solve. *Also Open to Locations in: Austin, TX, San Diego, CA, Chicago, Illinois*

* Prior work experience in program management, operations, vendor / third party support management, new product/program introduction, and payment integration preferably with a large corporation

* Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through deadlines/projects simultaneously under minimal supervision

* Strong analytical capabilities coupled with good business insight

The Software Beta Program Engineering Project Manager is responsible for the overall development, implementation, execution and measurement of Apple Pay beta programs across different verticals. The Engineering Project Manager's responsibilities also include but are not limited to new product/program readiness, performance analysis and reporting, business impact analysis/recommendations. PROGRAM & PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Manage multiple projects, including communication and project planning process - Identify project timeframes, achievements, partners and resources - Present and communicate status and reports to leadership - Drive actions to improve performance and analyze system performance and business impact proposals - Work with external partners to escalate and resolve any non-compliance issues resulting from updates or audits - Participate in additional Apple Pay team initiatives and projects - Facilitate cross functional team discussions to establish and enforce Apple Pay requirements in design, manufacturing, integration selection, and expansion decisions - Partner with internal business partners such as Program Management, Training & Development, etc., providing information as needed - Evaluate the experience from the end customers point of view - Educate Apple personnel in Apple Pay program, practices and standards
