IT Project Sourcing Specialist - Radnor, PA

Summary:

The IT ProjectSourcing Specialist (IT PSS) worksclosely with IT Teams (Infrastructure and applications) and provides procurementsupport to IT Teams both in infrastructure and applications projects. The ITPSS will makes sure that all sourcing projects are in line with the relevant category strategy an in alignmentwith the project sourcing strategy and vendor recommendation.

You will know the IT Supplier markets and possess solid IT procurement experience working within an IT environment.

Providessourcing support in IT Projects

* Provides IT procurement expertise

* using the sourcing methodology (Procurement Toolbox) i.e. based on a cross-functional core team approach (IT, Procurement, Business)

* leads the RFP process and spot negotiation (From need to contract)

* Provides necessary level of information to CIO Office and attends to the Project Review, when the project is delegated to the BIS /Cluster.

* Works collaboratively with Americas Procurement Direction, Key IT Stakeholders and Americas Clusters.

* Meets with key IT stakeholders routinely and proactively identifies sourcing and contract value opportunities.

* Leverages market intelligence from IT Global Procurement and Hub Americas to evaluate, negotiate, and manage annual price fluctuations.

* Partner with Legal to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures, both internal and external, to Air Liquide.

* Manages contract life-cycle for main agreements within area of responsibility.

* Develop relationships with IT customers to understand their service and implement strategies in alignment with IT to maximize savings.

* Participates in identifying IT emerging opportunities with the IT Stakeholders.

* Initiates/Organizes and leads the negotiations with suppliers according to the desired objectives

* Captures list of IT projects on a monthly basis and makes sure that the IT Procurement needs are covered.

* Initiates and drives with the BIS/Cluster & IT global category managers. IT efficiency opportunity analysis (notably for Target exercise).

* Monitors savings and overall performance of the sourcing projects (Measures, demonstrates and reports savings generated by the Sourcing projects and the Spot Negotiations)

* Complies with Local Procurement practices.

* Provides support and input to the IT Category Managers in the IT Key Vendors Management program within his/her perimeter; ensures the vendor performance reviews with the support of the category manager.

Technical:

* Strong IT Procurement, IT and Legal knowledge

* Experience with negotiating contracts - SaaS, PaaS, AMD, Telecom (data and voice), Devices and IT Services).

* Strong knowledge of IT Supplier base

* Maturity in Project Management Methodology (PMO, Procurement Toolbox sourcing methodology).

* Experience with RFP sourcing process; experience in Telecom, licenses, SaaS, Cloud (PaaS, IaaS) AMD, IT services, Devices, printing.

* Financial knowledge (Supplier financial analysis)

* Strong negotiations techniques - ability to build and select the best compromise

Educational Requirements:

* Bachelors Degree inBusiness/Engineering preferred or equivalent

* 8 to 10 years of experience with a minimum of 5Years in IT Procurement

* 3-5 years of Project Management experience

* IT Procurement experience in an International Company would be an asset
