Driver

Description:

Primarily responsible to deliver and pick up auto parts to and from our suppliers and customers. Provides safe, friendly, courteous, prompt and efficient service to customers and represent the company in a professional manner. Completes necessary paperwork including daily delivery logs, pick-up, cores, returns, COD invoices, and delivery forms. The ability to lift 50 lbs. throughout the day, day to day. Also responsible to pull orders off of invoices, receive, unload, check in, and stock all parts from warehouse or UPS trucks, daily vehicle maintenance, light store housekeeping, and any other light duty tasks as specified by the manager. Autopart Internationals drivers are the ambassadors of the company and shall act accordingly.

Reports to: store manager and assistant manager

Store hours: Weekdays 7:15Am - 5:45 Pm, Saturdays 8:00 Am 3:00Pm

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Deliver and pick up automotive parts, cores and returns to and from customers safely and promptly

2. Responsible to collect money on COD invoices from sale of parts

3. Pulling orders off of invoices

4. Unload, check in, and put away orders

5. Fill out any forms or documents regarding parts deliveries and money collections

6. Perform daily maintenance checks on all store vehicles and report to store manager about any problems in vehicles

7. Maintain vehicle cleanliness

8. Clean counter and work area, sweep/vacuum floor, clean bathrooms and remove trash when necessary

9. A neat and professional look is required at all times. Uniform shirts will be provided

10. Serve as Autopart Internationals ambassador and strengthen the relationship with customers

11. Keep open communication with all supervisors and drivers

12. Inform store manager of any feedback, complaints or concerns of customers

13. Constantly be willing to learn more about the store operation procedures, if unsure of an answer always seek assistance

14. Come in with a positive attitude and try to motivate others

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years old, licensed for at least 6 months, has not been convicted of DUI for the last 6 years and maintains an acceptable driving record. Should be able to lift approximately 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day. Must be a team player, motivated, energetic and hard worker. Must have good communication skills and maintain a positive and helpful attitude. Must be able to maintain good business relationship with customers and represent the company in the best means possible. A full time driver should be able to work approximately forty hours a week. Must be flexible with schedule to work within the store requirements.
