Job Summary
Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is accepting applications for a full-time faculty member in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS). The faculty member's rank may be at the associate or full professor level, depending on experience and qualifications. We seek an outstanding individual with expertise in major maxillofacial surgery and a record of meaningful scholarly work.

The candidate must have a DDS or DMD degree and be eligible for board certification or be board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. An additional medical degree is preferred. The candidate must possess or be able to obtain an appropriate license for clinical practice in the state of Texas.

Primary responsibilities include patient care, clinical instruction of residents and fellow, scholarly endeavors, and service. This position is both clinical and academic. The candidate should be interested in building and fostering a practice and conducting research. The candidate will be expected to apply for a faculty position with Weill Cornell Medical School, our primary academic partner.
