This position is Night Shift (10pm to 6:30am) from Friday through Tuesday (full-time).
Essential Job Responsibilities:
* Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on custom automation equipment
* Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks
* Implement continuous improvement projects on manufacturing automation equipment
* Complete Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to Work Instructions, Tool (IOPQ) Protocols, Drawings and BOM lists
* Drive initiatives to improve product quality, increase part throughout, decrease equipment downtime, and strengthen safety measures
* Work with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
* Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services
* Writing and following established maintenance procedures
* Ability to drive design changes on equipment to improve performance
* Drive improvement of equipment metrics (MTTR and MTBF)
Qualifications:
* PLC and Control Systems
* Robotics / Automation
* Vision and Laser Systems
* Microfluidic Dispense Controls
Minimum Requirements:
* 4-6 years of related experience or AA with 2-4 years related experience.
* Strong written and oral communications skills
* Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio
* Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good Understanding of mechanical design concepts and machinery: Electrical, Mechanical, and Electromechanical schematics, motors, pumps, vacuum, and hydraulics
* Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge and proficiency in Solidworks CAD modeling a plus
* Lean 5S Manufacturing knowledge a plus
* Hands-on equipment experience with hand tools and machine shop tooling expertise
* Project Management skills
