Support Technician Intern

Purpose Statement:
The Support Technician Intern helps identify, research, and resolve technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Helps manage and deploy internal end-user technologies (e.g., SharePoint).
Essential Functions:
* Routes incoming incidents and service requests to the appropriate functional areas within IT, in a timely manner
* Installs, troubleshoot, and repairs a variety of hardware and software platforms via phone, web and in-person channels
* Performs basic networking to local desktop computers and other network-enabled devices
* Supports and maintains production printing devices including laser, thermal transfer and direct thermal technologies
* Configures and supports company-owned mobile devices for both on and off-site users
* Communicates clearly and professionally with internal customers
* Works effectively as part of a team to achieve established outcomes
* Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values
* Performs other duties as assigned
Education/Licensure:
* High School diploma required
* Pursuing an Associate degree or bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field preferred

* Ability to perform a variety of duties easily changing from one task to another
