JOB SUMMARY
Acts as a liaison between the Distribution Center and the Home Office by representing the interests of Merchandising, Planning and Allocation, and Stores

Major Areas of Responsibility

* Support Merchandise Control and Operations teams in achieving Key Performance Indicators and other objectives
* Assist Merchandise Control team in expediting orders on the Receiving dock by looking at merchandise with the eyes of the buyers (BFPQ)
* Ensure compliance to legal standards and product labeling requirements
* Execute special inspection and handling processes
* Entry of vendor compliance infractions for all problems identified during process of expediting orders on the dock
* Coordinate and maintain RTV/Damage processes
* Completes returns/disposals via communication with Home Office
* Coordinates movement and purging of RTV/Damage area with Operations teams
* Publish and maintain Merchandise Update and Merchandise Alert
* Monitor and respond to all E-Hotline issues within pre-determined timeframes
* Execute Locator Problem Reticketing (LPR) process
* Attend Merchandise Control conference calls, team and staff meetings
* Ensure building compliance to Best Practices as related to quality and aging of merchandise

JOB KNOWLEDGE

High School graduate

Associates/Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent job experience

Minimum job skills required to perform this job

* Strong organizational and time management skills as well as flexibility and ability to prioritize
* Works well with little Supervision, self-motivated
* Ability to work within paradoxical and agile thinking
* Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
* Ability to informally influence
