Job Description
The Senior Quantitative Analyst provides the quantitative analysis and builds the advanced quantitative models to meet DFAST and CCAR requirement. In addition, the Senior Quantitative Analyst provides highly specialized quantitative analytical and modeling support at the assigned line(s) of business.
Requirements
Develop statistical models under direction with strong knowledge of statistics.
Good communication skills to write model development reports, annual model reviews and communicate with business and Model Validation partners.
Manage data bases and code model in SAS
Works autonomously and as a team member within a specialized analytics function
Acts as information resource for others in their own area
Solves complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables, which may include consultation with numerous stakeholders
Works effectively across multiple business units with numerous stakeholders to deliver advanced analytics solutions
Focuses on medium-long term projects (6-12 months), non-routine specialized/ complex issues and/or escalated matters
Independently performs functions/activities from end to end

Qualifications
Undergraduate degree; Master's degree (statistics, financial engineering, MBA or related fields) highly preferred
Proficient PC skills including a strong competency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and a modeling software like SAS, R, or Python; SAS experience highly preferred
Experience making complex and broad predictions based on a vast amount of past and/or present data through the development of statistical, mathematical or financial models
Strong analytical and program solving skills are required to interpret data and draw conclusions
Willingness to work flexible hours to complete modeling work when up against tight timelines
