What you will do
As a Manager, Global Supplier Quality you will establish a quality center of excellence, develop organizational strategies, processes, goals, and metrics to drive measurable improvements in quality processes. You will oversee the consistency of quality processes and manage and address potential product and safety investigations through corrective action.
* You will be responsible for the strategic planning and management of supplier quality related activities with management responsibilities over multiple sites.
* You will develop, establish and maintain supplier quality business processes, engineering methodologies, and practices which meet Stryker, customer, and regulatory requirements.
* You will serve as a Quality representative to improve awareness, visibility, and communication on quality initiatives supporting departmental, functional, site, divisional and corporate quality goals and priorities.
* You will act as the key interface with site operations as it pertains to Supplier Quality Issues.
* You will investigate, identify, and implement best-in-class Quality Engineering practices across the Supplier Quality.
* You will provide technical guidance mentoring for identifying and resolving quality issues.
* You will work closely with the Sourcing and Manufacturing Partners in order to continuously improve supplier quality.
* You will manage day-to-day quality processes to ensure issues are appropriately evaluated.
* You will establish annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Make necessary changes with appropriate management involvement.
* You will communicate and collaborate with Quality Assurance, R&D, Service, Global Supply, Finance, Sales, and Marketing departments to ensure corporate goals and strategies are met.
* You will provide guidance, recommendations, and implementation plans for adherence to new regulatory requirements or expectations.
* You will represent quality processes during internal and external audits.
What you need
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree required
* Minimum of 8 years experience in quality, engineering, manufacturing or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelors in a science, engineering or related discipline
* Minimum of 8 years experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent preferred.
* MS in engineering or MBA preferred
* ASQ CQE/CMQ/OE/PE certification preferred
* Lean Six Sigma master Blackbelt certification preferred
* Lead Quality Auditor Qualification preferred (ISO 13485, CFR 820 or comparable industry standard and regulatory requirements). Knowledge of quality planning tools: APQP, PPAP/FAI, FMEA, MSA, Control Plan, & Control Charts preferred
