$17.00-$18.25 per hour
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines and equipment as needed while maintaining proper flow of product to meet Service Level goals
Manually handle blades, print plates, ink cups, etc. to print and/or pack for shipping
Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other associates, exemplifying 6S principals
Ensure all products meet specifications, maintain quality standards of product from blister to master pack, and sign off where appropriate indicating quality assurance on FPI
Properly fill out all documentation, label all packages, skids, racks, or containers
Properly handle all scrap, rework and mixed product
Perform other duties as assigned
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of three months experience at Stanley Black & Decker with proven performance in safety, quality, work ethic, attendance, 6S principals, and attitude / teamwork
High-energy, self-motivated team player with good communication skills
Basic shop math and familiarity with fractional (imperial) & metric-based measurement systems
Proficiency in material handling operations and manual dexterity
Basic mechanical ability; able to use basic tools, equipment, and precision measuring instruments
Proficiency in reading and interpreting prints; able to follow ink recipes correctly
Moderate to heavy lifting may be required (30 lb. max)
Reliable and flexible with hours worked, including weekends and overtime
Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic computer skills
