The Role:

Chase is seeking a highly proactive, ambitious, collaborative, and driven, Digital Project Manager who thrives on bringing organization, cadence, and efficiency to product management and delivery, with specific focus on the end-to-end account opening experience within the Business Banking & Merchant Services space. The candidate will be a critical member of the broader team, helping to bring deep collaboration among a large set of partners, keep accountable on sprint progress and coordination, and thrives on delivering crisp administrative duties, including meetings, notes, action item follow ups, and cross-functional team alignment. Collaboration with other business and engineering product owners, as well as other cross-functional support groups will be required to develop a unified, comprehensive, and compliant customer experience.

This role requires the candidate to quickly ramp-up on critical work-in-progress and help plan out from roadmap views to detailed sprint plans alongside our scrum team partners. While this role is not part of the Engineer team, broad understanding of internal systems and platforms and how they all work together and the teams involved is a key component of this role. We are looking for someone who does not shy away from getting into technical details in order to drive comprehensive delivery. This role specifically requires a deep sense of teamwork and walls-down approach in order to succeed. No egos allowed.

Candidates should utmost superior written and oral communication skills, a strong sense of purpose and urgency in delivering a successful product, technically knowledgeable to translate into business requirements, strong interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for digital financial services. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker and a go-getter who organically looks at processes and problems with a sleeves rolled-up mentality to collaboratively solve them.

Responsibilities

Serve as key project manager of the Account Opening experience team for Business Banking & Merchant Services

Plan, coordinate, and drive critical team meetings along the Agile development cycle (elaborations, JADs, sprint planning, etc.)

Lead gathering, communicating, and following up on key action items and takeaways across the broader team

Engage with the core platform engineering team and all downstream system teams including understanding how their respective areas work together, dependency management, and driving the overall product and engineering teams to successful delivery

Coordinate across other key areas as needs arise and evolve including, testing, release management, go/no-gos, product validations, etc.

Drive meaningful and concise updates to a wide range of audiences/forums with proactive ability to discern inefficiency and helping tell only the relevant storyline

Be a partner and team player, well-known for always finding a path to engage no matter the topic, situation or context

Skill Requirements:

7+ years of digital experience, project and program management is a must as well as record of personal leadership;

Strong experience working heavily with cross-functional partners on a daily basis and leveraging those relationships for excellent work product;

Passionate and vocal, balanced with a willingness to learn and collaborate;

Experience with bringing together cross functional teams and leading successful execution;

Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view (in particular, a large range of engineering teams and backend systems) and maintain grounded and productive discussions;

Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills;

Ability to prioritize projects and efforts according to business need and industry trends;

Familiarity with the business services and offerings associated with Chase;

Ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions;

Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under intense pressure;

Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team;

Demonstrable experience working in financial services, retail banking, digital payments, e/m-commerce, online and mobile platforms, etc.
