Job Description

The Digital Content Marketing Specialist will help execute a robust pipeline of insight-driven content marketing campaigns targeted at the worlds most robust and exciting industry sectors including ecommerce and retail, consumer electronics, transportation, food and more. The Content Specialist role will be critical to our ability to create meaningful, value-driven messages and campaigns to reach customers and prospects across the Americas region. This role requires a mind that thrives on creative problem solving, authoritative storytelling, an understanding of the way people make purchase decisions, and a skill for translating complex information into simple tools and visuals. The Content Specialist will be able to synthesize market research, industry trend analysis, and inputs from various market sectors to craft compelling digital content, print collateral, and tools to enable our sales force, or drive buyer engagement through email, web, social media, and virtual events. The success of this position will be measured in content performance metrics (i.e.; usage and sharing by field sales teams, site engagement, views, and downloads from online prospects, etc.) and in on-time percentage in hitting ambitious timelines for content delivery to support annual campaign objectives.

* Translate critical insights into original, compelling customer content and tools that can be presented to customers to drive new business and deepen customer relationships, or that can drive buyer intent through web, email, and other digital demand generation channels.
* Coordinate with Field Marketing and Americas Platform teams to develop content for sales messages, webinars, virtual events, case studies, videos, and engagement tools that are backed by original insight into the markets and customers we serve.
* Partner with Customer & Field Marketing managers to prioritize and produce content (email, social, web, video, etc.) that will drive the greatest engagement with prospective buyers.
* Provide editorial content support (outlines, presentations, talking points, memos, email) to internal functions, leaders, and teams as required to ensure the Americas story is being told in clear, concise, impactful ways to both internal and external audiences.
* Support management of Sales Libraries and Digital Asset Management tool with content and collateral updates as needed.
* Create content in a timely, efficient manner on tight deadlines in accordance with editorial process standards, following editorial content & style guide to create impactful, credible written content appropriate for each channel.

Qualifications

* BA/BS Degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, or related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in creating content to support integrated marketing communications campaigns in digital and print, preferably in both B2B and B2C environment.
* 2+ years writing for digital content marketing channels (social media, email, web, sponsored newsletters, blogs) strongly preferred.
* Ability to clearly articulate and visually represent complex ideas.
* Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to maintain brand and voice consistency across mediums and channels.
* Excellent relationship building skills complemented by the proven ability to work with others, especially across team boundaries and functions.
* Strong leadership, creativity, and planning/execution skills
* Ability to take ownership and drive multiple projects from start to finish, while working across groups
* A storyteller who uses his/ her communications strength to move others.
* Intellectually curious, strong attention to detail, self-motivated
* Understanding of relationship between graphics and written content.
* Basic capability in PowerPoint.
* Some experience with graphics or graphic design preferred, but not required (Adobe Illustrator).
