The S3 Business Development and Strategy (BD&S) organization is a collaborative and fast-paced team making significant yearly contributions to company growth through the expansion of key Raytheon franchises.

The S3 Business Development Operations Manager position is critical to the organization to ensure effective and efficient completion of day-to-day operations tasks and deliverables, to support executive briefings and customer engagements, and to coordinate and contribute to the Business Development Executive (BDE)s strategic level initiatives including annual growth planning. This position reports to the Director of Business Development, Advanced Early Warning Systems, in S3 Reconnaissance and Resilient Navigation Systems

This role has a broad scope of responsibilities, interfacing with several internal and external functional teams and requiring collaboration and relationship-building to achieve success.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Leading the coordination, consolidation, and review of BD deliverables for product line and RI&S level ops reviews including pipeline and bookings summaries, campaign status, new business assessments, and critical program reviews as required
* Providing comprehensive management of S3s data in the Enterprise Raytheon Pipeline Manager (ERPM) tool, including regularly verifying accuracy of pipeline data, creating new entries for bookings and customer engagements as needed, as well as producing and analyzing a broad range of ERPM reports on S3s pipeline
* Supporting the BDE to ensure timely and high-quality preparation of briefing materials, talking points, white papers, and trip books for executive engagements including customer meetings, trade show participation and leadership team briefings, in collaboration with the S3 BD team
* Providing analysis and developing high quality materials in support of S3s strategic growth planning
* Spearheading the coordination of S3s trade show engagements and sponsorships
* Tracking and managing the S3 BD&S new business investment and overhead budgets in close collaboration with the BDE and S3 Finance
* Coordinating S3 BD training including ensuring team completion of annual training requirements, and coordinating training opportunities on special topics
* Building relationships and coordinating collaboration opportunities for the S3 BD team with outside stakeholders such as communications, government relations, supply chain, strategy, contracts, finance, and BD subject matter experts to enhance S3 BD success
* Supporting the BDE as an interface to S3 representatives and consultants
* Identifying and implementing process improvements and/or automation to streamline tasks
* Coordinating meeting logistics and maintaining shared information resources such as RShare site(s)
* Other tasks as needed to support the BD organization

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Required Skills:

* Minimum 10 years relevant work experience in Business Development, Finance, Program Management, Engineering or other related discipline
* U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
* U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:

* Understanding of RTX products and markets, organization, and business operations
* Working knowledge of Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)
* Existing Top Secret clearance

Required Education: Bachelors Degree

*Ideal candidate will be in the El Segundo area, however other major RTX locations are eligible.
