Position Summary
The Quality Inspector will demonstrate extensive knowledge of Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing (GD&T) methods per ASME 14.5. They will also demonstrate expert level blueprint reading and manufacturing/inspection related math skills. They will either serve as SMEs for mechanical, assembly, or CMM inspection. These inspectors read and interpret results of inspections to determine product conformance and will have enough knowledge of manufacturing process to provide detailed feedback on ways to improve product quality. These inspectors work independently and seek little guidance from higher level employees. They will also demonstrate advanced knowledge of AS9102 reporting, including the ability to create reports independently.
